Sox Win, Take Series Over Jays, Final: 3-1

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Ryan Dempster works against the Toronto Blue Jays during the first inning of their baseball game, Thursday, May 2, 2013, in Toronto
The Red Sox beat the Blue Jays 3-1 Thursday night. It was a pretty quiet game, considering we only got 6 hits and 3 runs, and Jays got 1 run. Gomes did the best on our team, being the only one who got 2 hits, going 2 f or 4. Dempster didn't get off to the best start giving up 1 run in the first, but that would be the only run he would give up through 6 innings pitched. His final line was 6 innings, 4 hits, 1 run, 3 walks, and 4 strikeouts. We can call it a quality start, because of his 3 walks and home run he let up. But other than that he did great holding the Jays to 1 run and 4 hits and earning his 2nd win with the Sox. The bullpen was pretty good except for Miller who left 2 on, but Tazawa would finish the inning to secure the lead in the 8th. Hanrahan came in the 9th to earn his 4th save of the season, giving up a hit in 1 inning pitched. Bailey didn't pitch last night because of a right bicep strain that has been bothering him so they'll let him rest for now, until he feels fine.

Anyways, with this win the Sox are the first team to get 20 wins this season and currently own MLB's best record at 20-8. The Red Sox will be facing the Texas Rangers tonight, and what will be Napoli's return to Texas since signing with the Sox. Well let's see how the Rangers react to Napoli being there, considering last time they boo'ed Josh Hamilton when he returned this season.
