Hello,
So the Bruins are moving on the the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs after a win in game 7 that we are all going to remember for a long time no matter what happens this year. Now, the Rangers. During the Toronto series the Bruins offense wasn't there every game even though we should have been scoring a lot more goals. In this series it's going to be the opposite. This series the games are going to be very low scoring because of the style of play the Ranger use. First of all, the have a great goalie as we all know, Henrik Lundqvist. Then on top of that they play a denfensive style of hockey to make one of the greatest goalies out their's job a little easier. So if the Bruins don't score a lot, then that's ok, because they aren't expected to. Now the problem is, yes, Rask. Can Rask compete with Lundqvist? I think he can, but let's be honest, Lundqvist is a better goaltender. What the Bruins need to do is try and get those lucky bounces so they can get pucks in the net. You can do that by being agressive around the net. You might not get the lucky bounce on one shift, but if you continue to charge the net you will get one. They should also focus on being more agressive defensively, it will make Rask's life easier and it's not like the Rangers have the best offense out there. It will be a long, grinding series, but I think the Bruins can win. Game 1 is Thursday night at TD Garden.
