(Phil Kessel once again scored in Game 6, while Tyler Seguin has yet to get a point in the series)
The Bruins had another chance to put the Leafs away once and for all. With some positives, they had a way better first period than game 5, you really couldn't have done much worse than they did in game 5, though. This game was scoreless through 2 periods and was really hard fought. Both teams were trading chances, both getting good goaltending. There was one big difference: TURNOVERS! Whenever the Bruins got a rush, most of the time, they tried to be too cute and go for a wing-to-wing pass or tried to pass it behind you just hoping for a guy to be there to pick it. The key word is "hoped". Instead of doing that, they should have just shot the puck and create second chances. As we all know, Reimer gives up rebounds! The game was still scoreless through two periods thanks to none other than old Touk. Yes I said old Touk. Anyways, Toronto got the first goal of the game (of course), when van Riemsdyk fired a wrist shot that was tipped in front off Deon Phaneuf. They would go up 2-0 when Kessel, yes Kessel, jumped on a loose puck and got a backhanded shot over Tuukka Rask, it was a pretty good goal I have to admit. The Bruins had the same problems, not scoring. Part of it was their fault, with the turnovers and everything, but Toronto also blocked shots. A lot of good opportunities were stopped because of blocked shots. So really, what can you do in that situation? Well, I think they should try to get in towards the net further before shooting. And another thing, when you do shoot, get the puck on net please. How many shots have gone wide? Too many.
Oh yeah, and Lucic scored with 20 seconds left in the game. Bruins lose 2-1. Game 7 is tonight at TD Garden. Heart attack time.
