I'M BACK! For now of course this is just a one time thing while Anthony is busy. Now lets talk about the game shall we?
The Bruins and Rangers went through a scoreless 1st period with both goalies playing good. Zdeno Chara stared off the scoring with a slapper that snuck by Henrik Lundqvist which snapped his 2 game shutout streak. The Rangers would tie it how ever with a goal with 1 second left in the second by Ryan McDonagh. The Rangers would score 14 seconds into the 3rd to give them the lead. Then on the powerplay rookie Torey Krug scored on a slap shot that beat Lundqvist. I mean can you believe that? We scored a POWERPLAY goal wow. With the clock winding down Boychuck fired a bomb that beat Henrik but hits the post it would've been a buzzer beater.(I've been watching to much basketball) The 2 teams would head to Overtime were the Bruins are 2-0. The Bruins hit the post a couple of times during that but eventually the hero from game 7 Patrice Bergaron made a nice pass to Marchand and he scored and the Bruins would take game 1. Lets look at the stats:
Tuukka Rask: 33 out of 35 shots saved
Brad Marchand: 1 goal and a assist
Torey Krug: 1 goal
Zdeno Chara: 1 goal and a assist
Nice game between these 2 original 6 teams both goalies played exceptionally well. The teams will have some rest before game 2.
So yea I bet your surprised to see me post today(I know am) So this is probably my last post for a while, maybe a month. Lets talk about the Celtics real quick. Danny Ainge has till June 30th to make a decision on to buy out Paul Pierce and most likely he will sadly. Doc Rivers is confirmed to come back next season also. So yea see you whenever!
