Tuukka Rask Saves Game In Shootout, Win 2-1

Bruins goalie, Tuukka Rask came up big this game, saving 25 shots. If it wasn't for Rask letting in only 1 goal and saving us in the shootout, we wouldn't have won because our offense was nowhere to be seen. Well, I can't say that for everyone because we had our chances at some point, but New Jersey's backup goalie also did a superb job in net. Anyways, the only goal was scored by Nathan Horton and it was again, a late goal in the 3rd period, and it was a nice one too! The Bruins headed into over time but could not capitalize on their chances and had to settle for the shoot out. Tyler Seguin came on the ice first and scored but was forced to redo because of a certain object that was thrown on the ice and apparently distracted New Jersey's goalie. So on his second chance, what does he do? MISS THE NET! JUST KIDDING! He scores again to make sure that he did not get ripped off of his first chance. Then, Ilya Kovalchuk would score for the Devils, the only person to score in the shootout for them. Brad Marchand would score in round 6 and, after, Rask would make the save and earn us the win. Let's look at the stats.

Tuukka Rask: 25 out of 26 shots saved
Milan Lucic: 1 Assist, 1 Hit
Nathan Horton: 1 Goal, 2 Hits
David Krejci: 1 Assist, 1 Hit
Dennis Seidenberg: 5 Hits
Andrew Ference: 6 Hits

Player Of The Game: Tuukka Rask

The B's offense had trouble this game but Seguin, Marchand, and Rask saved us in the shootout. They remain undefeated in regulation so far. Anways, next up, we verse the Sabres, should be an easy win.
